The Ultimate Athlete: A Cerebral Approach to Swimming

The Ultimate Athlete Swimming Technique Camps and Clinics are held throughout the year at indoor facilities throughout the Greater Rochester, and Philadelphia regions. We offer cutting edge instruction based on the latest swimming research available, and provide unique and creative drill sequences designed to master each skill. Included are underwater and above water videotaping for each participant, including the use of the revolutionary IKKOS camera.

There are two methods, each equally as important, for swimming faster. The first, known as “body engine” training supports the physiological development of each swimmer. This type of training is broken down into energy zones, and specific sets and workouts are designed to train one, or more, energy zone. The second, and most important, method for long term success is neurological training. This brain-based approach specifically addresses how our mind, brain, and nervous system interact in order to develop long term neural memory. Our camps and clinics are designed to train the mind-brain-body interaction. The result is increased awareness of the water, improved, and long lasting technique development, and enhanced confidence. Our cutting edge drills specifically address each individual component of a start, turn, and stroke, resulting in a more aware, intelligent, and motivated swimmer.
